Room Raider: The Boudoir of a young woman..

The bedroom of a young woman is essentially the most feminine and individually expressive room that one will have, once its time to move in with other half, I suppose a lot of ‘girlyness’ must be stripped away to accommodate the new masculine room mate. I’m still on my own, but not for long and as such I’ve started to look at my room in a different way, this is potentially the last room that is mine and no one else’s. Well I suppose if all goes well then I can have my own dressing room or perhaps my own en suite, but never again my own room. Image

Interior Design Trend : Leopard Accents

One Interior Design trend I simply can’t get enough of is leopard print. There are certain conditions or rules though…

1. Less is more – Leopard overload is a one way ticket from tasteful to tacky.

2. Subtle tone – a garish print or the wrong shade is a NO. My favourites tend to be muted and skewed towards brown and neutral tones (not orange and certainly not any brightly coloured variations)

3. Furry? – If your going for the faux fur look it has to be high quality, cheap faux fur is just wrong

A Week in Scotland

I’ve only just got back from the Novar estate in the scottish Highlands, and I’m already planning my next trip. The week included riding, hiking, shooting, spa treatments, and some serious 4×4 off roading  – heaven. I  got to use my new christmas present – a Fujifilm X100- to take some photographs of the beautiful scenery, and thought I’d post a few on here…
